Submitting records REQUIRING DESCRIPTIONS
Please download the file below, fill it in with your details and description and email it to the County Recorder ([email protected]). Also, please attach any photos or media you have with your description. If your media (video, audio, etc) is too big to email please try and upload it to a website and send us a link. All records should be submitted as soon as possible after the sighting and not left until the end of the year. County rarities accepted by the Norfolk Records Committee will be published in the Bird Report together with the initials of the finder/identifier.
All records of county rarities should be accompanied by the fullest possible written documentation (incorporating wherever possible original field notes or sketches) and where available and relevant, photographic evidence, sound recordings and sonograms.
Records submitted by email will be acknowledged. If no acknowledgement is received, please confirm receipt by telephone.
Observers are requested to submit all significant records direct to the County Recorder to ensure their inclusion in the Bird Report.
